Vs Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins?! FIGHT! Fear Held Dear.

There is no doubt that the ongoing musings of Dino Cazares in the Fear Factory camp have made for interesting sound bite over the past few years but… everything seems to happen at a glacial pace. Yes we’ve gratefully received a album in “Aggression Continuum” and a remix album in “Recoded” but no shows to support either record. Instead Cazares has toured with Soulfly to get some much needed cash in the bank and then oddly enough announced the resurrection of the project he did when he was ousted from Fear Factory in Divine Heresy with Lauren Hart of Once Human as the new vocalist. Back in August 2021 a new vocalist was found for Fear Factory but will be announced through new songs so the assumption is they’re being worked on right about now. The only question is if that is a fresh album or the much talked about from the ground up rebuild of 2012’s “The Industrialist” that is said to replace the drum programming with real drums from Mike Heller remains to be seen…

…all we do know is that the new vocalist is “kind of” known to the World, which suggests someone with a couple of albums under their belt with a now defunct project or a prominent YouTube star, although in reality that could mean anything. As cool as it would be, former Killswitch Engage and current Light The Torch frontman or Jon Howard from Imonolith and Threat Signal seems unlikely…

…so to our head to head. We have Italian vocalist Lucas Aguirre in the Red Corner tearing down your blue skies with his one take performance of the almighty “Self Bias Resistor“. He fills the YouTuber quota before our “kind of known” vocalist in Rachel Aspe of Cage Fight and formerly Eths who brings down walls with her take on the classic in the Blue corner. Who wins? You decide!
