NEWS: Valletta seek the best but only find the worst…

What happens when you get current and former members of  MO’YNOQ, Lord Almighty, Barishi, Between The Buried And Me, Prayer For Cleansing and Hopesfall and lock them in a basement with their instruments? You get Blackened Sludge Metal infused North Carolina act Valletta, from whom a debut album titled “Come Alive” will be making an appearance this summer. They have shared a third cut from that in hooky new single “Bringing the Worst” and are promising shadowy darkness with lashings of distortion on 14th July when the balance is due.

The band comments: “Everyone is tired. Tired of government and religion making decisions for people who don’t share the same beliefs. The privileged who are calling the shots hide their tyrannical goals beneath the veil of righteousness, using centuries of idolatry and social conditioning as a vehicle for oppression.”
