Throwback: “Lilac” from Monasteries!

Usually the rules for this weekly throwback feature are simple. A track at least a decade old that means something to us gets shared as if it was a mix tape you gave to a crush… but then there are always exceptions to rules because that’s fun too. So this week we celebrate a year of “Lilac” by Midlands Technical Deathcore collective Monasteries, a cut which reached that milestone on 22nd April via Seek & Strike Records and was their only drop of 2022. 148k plus Spotify and YouTube streams combined don’t lie and give a strong indication about just how much fans love the cut, not to mention how it fits into the bands anvil heavy live set.
