Throwback: “Sacrifice Into Sebek” by Nile!

It might not be an anniversary but with American Technical Death Metal act Nile preparing a new album and an extensive European tour trek for this summer it seems appropriate to delve into the archives for a classic from them. For the purpose we choose “Sacrifice Unto Sebek” from  “Annihilation Of The Wicked“. A 2005 release via Relapse Records, the bands fourth album was the first to feature George Kollias gracing the drum stool as well as their last for the label, it continued the bands undying dedication to a signature lyrical style inspired by both Egyptology and works of H. P. Lovecraft. Razor sharp riffs, pummelling percussion and a history lesson? What more could you possibly want?!
