The story goes that wipe Australian Death Thrash masters In Malice’s Wake were writing and recording demos for their as yet untitled fifth studio album set for November, the band deviated from the left hand path and commited to tape a fresh take on the Slayer classic “Silent Scream“. Intended to remain faithful to the spirit of the original, while melding it with their own signature sound to pay tribute to their heroes, it’s notable as the first full production and mixing project by guitarist and vocalist Shaun Farrugia.
