Throwback: “Murderer” by Krisiun!

This week marks the 20th anniversary of “Works Of Carnage” by Brazilian Death Metal masters Krisiun. The bands fifth album, it features a cover of “In League with Satan” as the band pay homage to their heroes in Venom while the equally vicious little ditty  “Murderer” got the full music video treatment. A step up from its predecessor in both production and vision, it finds the band refining their sound and getting much more impact from it with much tighter performances. The solos may not be as evident on the album as they feel like they should be, but when they do surface from Moyses Kolesne they are deadly, while the drumming is the kind of artillery shelling that we can all enjoy. So it’s time to raise the horns and salute the masters!
