There was the possibility that with the Dark Tranquillity machine cranking up the gears after the great plague years that the pair of side projects that Gothenburg Melodic Death Metal icon Mikael Stanne has joined in Grand Cadaver and The Halo Effect would fall away. However that is a vision that hasn’t come to fruition with a new album from the former and now an Australian and New Zealand Tour as part of Lagerfest for the later.
