Rabidfest 2024: 1st Wave of Bands and Early Bird Tickets!

It seems like the Christmas gifts are being shared early this year with the announcement that Oxfords biggest Metal Weekender Rabidfest will return to The Bullingdon on 2nd and 3rd of November 2024! Once again the proceeds will go to The Sophie Lancaster Foundation and limited Early Bird tickets are now on sale, frozen at 2023 prices! As if that wasn’t enough to get excited about, the first six bands have been announced, including one of the headliners…

…Rabidfest sees twenty bands take to the Devolution Magazine sponsored main stage over two days and Saturday 2nd November will be headlined by long serving Thrash Metal overlords Evile. They’re currently taking their second album with Napalm Records titled “The Unknown” all around the World and it’s an absolute riff fest! Joining them will be two bands who didn’t make it to the fifth anniversary incarnation in London’s Bloodstock survivors and fellow Thrash Metal riff slingers Imperium as well as Tech-Fest favourites From Her Ashes.

Once again confirming that variety is the spice of life, Leicester based Technical Death Metal outfit Voidwalker will be snapping necks, as will Recall The Remains with their blend of Metalcore and Deathcore violence. After all, they held their own opening for Cavalera so expect blood, sweat ans spilled beers in the mosh pit. Last but by no means least are Fury, a band whose fourth studio album “Born to Sin” finds them between Hard Rock and Traditional Heavy Metal with influences from Iron Maiden to Metallica and the unmistakable soulful voice of Julian Jenkins leading the way…
