If you haven’t already read the memo, Reading Progressive Death Metal Kings Mercury’s Well are bringing back Summer Bash, subtitled 666: Hell In Hawaii this summer. It will take place on Saturday 13th July at The Facebar in Reading with 10 (or possibly 11) joining them on stage. After all the speculation around a possible line up, the band have now finally put us out of our misery and unveiled a first wave of participants…

Leaving Hawaii looking distinctly like Pompeii after the eruption of Mount Vesuvius in A.D. 79, A Night In The Abyss are set to bring their brand of Symphonic Technical Deathcore to the parade. Running on themes of Anti-religion, Ancient stories and Murder, their 2021 EP “Begotten” remains a regular on our playlist.
Invited back after a scorching set last year, Masquerader will offer their unique blend of Industrial Post-Hardcore, Math Rock and Alt. Hip-Hop to the masses in July. For those not already indoctrinated in their ways, think The Prodigy meets Glassjaw on steroids. A band who cover every inch of the venue in their sweat during a crazy live show, expect energy in abundance.
Last but by no means least are Hampshire legends DeadBlow a band known to cross Hard Rock with Heavy Metal with 80’s and 90’s influences. Partakers in this year’s incarnation of Metal 2 The Masses in Oxford, they’re still riding high on 2017 EP “From The Ashes” but have a wealth of material in their arsenal…
