Playthrough: “Frayed Vessels” from Nonvector!
It seems that one fantastic drummer will replace another as Death Metal drummer extraordinaire Kevin Talley (ex-Dying Fetus, ex-Chimara, ex-Suffocation) has exited stage left from Progressive Metal outfit Nonvector to be replaced by Alex Rüdinger (ex-Whitechapel, ex-Revocation, ex-Threat Signal). It seems that the band have a debut full length album on the horizon with the name “Ashen Time” mooted and Declan White (Ocean Grove, Windwaker, Void Of Vision) mixing and mastering. From that Rüdinger has shared a playthrough for one called “Frayed Vessels“…
Originally released in December 2019, a debut EP titled “A Short Trip Home”, named after the 1927 F. Scott Fitzgerald novel which inspired former Crimson Massacre guitarist James Jackson to start the project was released. The Progressive Metal masterpiece that infuses technical, sludge, and progressive rock elements within a classical framework will be re-released via Italian label WormHoleDeath Records in 2022 with the addition of a bonus track titled “Ethereal Hypervisor“.
