So who the f*** are Halfway Home? Formed in 2020 in the South of England, they’re a five piece Post Hardcore band who gave us debut EP “Autumn” in 2022. An emotive record which features fans favourite “Denbigh Road” amongst five hard hitting tracks, it found them pushing to make a name for themselves and getting three music videos under their collective belts as they grew their fanbase. Since then they’ve been on the rise, sharing stages with the likes of Autumn Fires, Bitter and Indevth before burying a hatchet into this years Metal 2 The Masses competition at The Jericho Tavern in Oxford. As if that wasn’t enough, they’ve recorded a sophomore EP titled “Winter” for release later this year, produced, mixed and mastered by Aarron Beveridge of AB Productions. From that, they have premiered first single “Leeches” alongside a music video directed by Oli Duncanson of TheCityIsOurs fame and while it still has the same melodic qualities as their earlier material, it also has some Metalcore punch with beefed up guitar sound to give more contrast with the distinctive vocals. Could the EP be in our greasy paws before Rabidfest? We hope so!
We’re proud to be a Media Partner of Rabidfest again this year alongside Red Death Media, Moomin Merchandise, Metalplanetmusic, Moshville Times, GraphicsFix, TwoFace Promotions, Blackstar Amplification, DC Sound Attack and main stage sponsor. Devolution Magazine. The Festival is all for charity and this year the profits will be going to the The Sophie Lancaster Foundation!
