Throwback: “Monsters Ball” from Butcher Babies!

Time for another nostalgia trip down memory lane. Believe it or not, it has been no less than nine years since Los Angeles California’s Butcher Babies unleashed “Take It Like A Man” via Century Media on 21st August 2015. Two years after debut “Goliath” placed them somewhere in the spectrum between Metalcore, Thrash and Groove Metal, the band found themselves fighting with their label and management. Both had expressed a dislike for the album title and artwork which the five piece had chosen for the record after producer Logan Mader (Machine Head, Once Human, Soulfly) helped give them the sound they were looking for. Fortunately the band, fronted by dual headed hydra Heidi Shepherd and Carla Harvey, won that battle and the rest as they say is history. So here’s “Monsters Ball” along with our petition for the now four piece to do a 10th anniversary world tour for the much loved record… and bring it to Bloodstock 2025!
