Summer Bash 2025: An Introduction to Killswitch Enchambers!

Wherever you work, rest or play you’re going to have seen a yellow Post-It note attached to the bottom of a computer monitor. A reminder, a password, the combination to the safe or just a date, it’s there because it’s important. Lose that fecker and there is going to be hell to pay. It’s like a comfort blanket. A constant reminder out of the corner of your eye that everything is gonna be perfectly fine. Well the metaphorical Post-It note on your screen right now is a reminder. It says Mercury’s Well are having a party and you’re invited! No less than 10 bands will join them at The Facebar in Reading on 26th July 2025 for the seventh incarnation of Summer Bash, their annual one day Hawaiian themed beach party.

Here’s the line up in full:

Killswitch Enchambers (Killswitch Engage Tribute featuring former members of Kill Chambers)

What’s that you cry? Who the f*** are Killswitch Enchambers and what do they bring to the party? Back in 2011 a Melodic Death Metal band called Kill Chambers released an album called “The Reckoning” via Rising Records. Members of that band have been reunited as Killswitch Enchambers, a tribute band designed for one thing and one thing only. Playing Killswitch Engage covers to their hearts content. The American Metalcore mainstays have of course been around the block a few times and then some and have more than their fair share of sing-a-long anthems for crowd participation. You’d have had to be living in some Siberian back water prison for the past 25 years to call yourself a Metal head and not know who Killswitch Engage are… and to play a set of their classics well, let’s face it, you have to be pretty damn talented. What will it be? “My Last Serenade“? “My Curse“? “Rose Of Sharyn“? “The Signal Fire“? Probably all of the above. But will someone be wearing a cape like old school Adam Dutkiewicz? and with Mercury’s Well bassist and vocalist James Tiffin known to be a lover of Killswitch Engage, is he going to join them on stage? Those are indeed the questions!

We’re proud confirm that Metal Noise dot Net is returning for a third consecutive year as the Media Partner for Summer Bash! Mercury’s Well will be hosting the seventh incarnation of their annual Hawaiian beach party themed event on 26th July 2025 at The Facebar in Reading.
