NEWS: Mayhem begin the ritual…

Following the arrival of new single “Weep for Nothing“, the announcement of their seventh album “Liturgy of Death” and a European tour, it’s time for Extreme Metal grand masters Mayhem to reinforce their words. They do so with second single “Despair“, a track which unravels the collapse of being through ritualistic chants, Latin invocations, and blistering blast beats that echo like the pulse of annihilation. Attila‘s vocals summon an ancient, fatal truth: the fading of light, the inevitability of death, and the recognition of human fragility. “Despair” stands as the album‘s stark revelation — the moment where death is not feared but understood.

The previously announced “Death Over Europe 2026” tour which will find Mayhem joined by Marduk and Immolation shapes up like this:
