Vs. Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins? Fight! “Hard Times” Edition

Continuing the Cro-Mags theme (blame Lamb Of God) we’re going to go with one of the 5 or 6 most covered Cro-Mags songs around. The crossover thrash legends practically invented metallic hardcore and their debut “The Age Of Quarrel” is seen by many as one of the cornerstones of the current scene. In the red corner we have Machine Head joined by Biohazard‘s Bobby Hambel at The Dynamo Open Air Festival in 1995! Normally we wouldn’t go with a live cut against a studio version, but this live cut is of supremely good quality!

In the blue corner, we have Propagandhi. The Canadian punks cut is taken from the 1998 compilation “Return of the Read Menace” and was the first studio-recorded track to feature current bassist Todd Kowalski. Who wins? You decide!
