The Black Map #59: Strike Back from Stroud!
Stroud in Gloucestershire has a lot to be famous for. It’s a market town on the center of the five valleys and the birthplace of the Organic Food movement. It’s no surprise that it’s therefore home to the first British all organic cafe. More importantly it’s the home place of the Fringe Festival which sees over 400 unsigned bands takeover the town in September. It’s also the home of Milk Teeth, a punk band who signed to Hopeless Records in 2015 for “Vile Child”. But we’re not here for any of that. We’re here for some Hardcore!
Quintet Strike Back have been ripping it up across Europe since 2015 sharing stages with everyone from Madball to Negative Approach with frontman Matt Howson stepping up to the plate and delivering a fine guest appearance on “Misjudgement” by Backstabbed. It’s their new single “Greed” from their current album “Endless Power”, which is available over at bandcamp that we’ve featured here. It’s edited by Mitch Morse and an absolute banger of a tune! They’ll be joining Loathe and Borders at Burn It Down Festival in Torquay at the end of August!
