Throwback: “No Remorse (I Wanna Die)” by Atari Teenage Riot and Slayer!

Back in 1997 MTV culture lead to a number of hit and miss collaborations and remixes appearing in various places. One of the success stories was the soundtrack to the film Spawn, based on the comic book by Canadian Artist Todd McFarlane, whose notable works also include Batman: Year Two and The Amazing Spiderman. The film itself is part fantasy and part horror and stars Michael Jai White in the title role. The soundtrack paired Metal and Industrial and Rap artists in the same way that the Judgement Night Soundtrack had done five years prior. It’s most nost notable track include KoRn joining The Dust Brothers for “Kick The P.A.“, Australian Grunge Kings Silverchair delivering their heaviest track “Spawn” with Vitro and Slayer joining Atari Teenage Riot for “No Remorse (I Wanna Die)“.
