NEWS: Pulchra Morte trust only “The Archer & The Noose”!

Purveyors of Death Doom, Pulchra Morte have raided their upcoming new album ‘Ex Rosa Ceremonia‘ for another single to follow the momentous “The Serpent’s Choir” and carefully selected “The Archer & The Noose” for the purpose. This second taste of the album, set for a 6th November release is the work of a band comprised of Adam Clemans (Skeletonwitch, Wolvhammer), John Porada (Wolvhammer, Abigail Williams), Jarrett Pritchard (Eulogy), Clayton Gore (Eulogy, Harkonin), and Jeffrey Breden (Leagues Below), who began in 2017 with the intent to recapture the purpose of greats from the late-‘80s through early-‘90s doom-laden death metal scene, a point where feeling superseded technicality. Pulchra Morte singer Adam Clemans (Skeletonwitch, Wolvhammer), had the following to say regarding the single : “‘The Archer & The Noose’ is easily one of my favorite pieces on the record. Collaborating with Heather [Dykstra] was very enjoyable as well. She’s a properly trained singer and I thought it was very interesting that, without talking directly, we ended up writing the same melody for the clean sung section. It was meant to be.”
