Vs. Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins?! FIGHT! Indians.

The longest running feature at Metal Noise is our weekly cover head to head, the gift that keeps giving and there are just so many up and coming bands putting their own spin on classic and not so classic cuts by established acts we all know and love and it’s a thing of beauty. If you haven’t worked it out, the title is inspired by a combination of the line from Harry Hill’s TV Burp (Which is better? There’s only one way to find out: FIGHT! is a recurring feature) and the intro from “2nd Sucks” by A Day To Remember, giving you an insight into how our tiny minds work. You don’t need us to tell you about how pivotal 1987’s “Among The Living” was for Big Four of Thrash legends Anthrax, Metal, the World, so let’s cut to the chase…

In the Red Corner we have German Melodic Death Thrashers Night In Gales who released their version of the Anthrax classic “Indians” on their compilation “Ashes & Ends” which coincidentally happened to drop on their 20th anniversary. In the Blue Corner we have Criminally Insane who recorded their rendition during the sessions for “Nameless Fear” before it wound up being released on an Anthrax tribute album called “Caught In Time” in 2012 alongside Outside In and Ganassa. Who Wins? You decide!
