The footage maybe a little shaky but there is not doubt that Ukrainian pianist extraordinaire Viktoriya Yermolyev playing “Raining Blood” by Slayer in a church to raise money for Ukrainian refugees is a moment of brilliance that can not be ignored. She’s been studying classical piano since she was 4 years old and has a wealth of Metal piano covers that blow the mind. That is the Red Corner. Logically therefore we should pit piano against piano in this weeks duel so in the Blue Corner we have the version by Tori Amos, which sounds like the post apocalyptic soundscape created by the World that the riffs of Slayer created!
