Hailing from Oxford, vocalist Dan Abrams, guitarist Phill Millward, bassist James Pelley and drummer Steve Kearley cite inspirations in the likes of Iron Maiden and the almighty Ronnie James Dio, writing classic Traditional Metal music with a storytelling vocal style. Their lyrical narratives run on themes from mythology, witchcraft and wars amongst the Gods, so when they’re not engaging in musical endeavours expect to find them watching Thor or Game of Thrones. As a band the quartets roots go back a decade or more as they played their first show at Wheatsheaf in Oxford on 31st January 2013 and haven’t looked back since, chalking up shows everyone who is anyone including Aremia, Bring To Bear and MSRY while have several runs in the annual calling to Bloodstock that is Metal 2 The Masses. When it comes to essential listening, their current EP “Unholy” dropped in 2020 and was followed by single “Valhalla” a year later so expect classic riffs and anthemic sing-a-longs when they join the Rabidfest party!
