Now the into tape has finished rolling, let’s talk about one of the bands. They say that good things come to those who wait but for a while it seemed like the wait was eternity when it came to new material from Recall The Remains. Burring the lines between Metalcore and Deathcore the Midlands natives took their time to get it right, testing the water and developing their material in the live arena before committing it to tape. They fired their first shot in anger in October 2017 with “The Will Of Your God” while claiming influences in the likes of Thy Art Is Murder and Lamb Of God, the waterfall release of four further singles before debut EP “Dead Dreams” taking four years. Recorded at Monochrome Productions and mixed and mastered by Tom Gittins (Left For Red, Broken Witt Rebels) that proved that the band were taking a quality rather than quantity approach, something which has served them well as they destroyed stages at Mammothfest, Derby Alt Fest and HRH Metal Festival to name but a few. Two years passed with fans favourite “The Night Will Bleed” accumulating 21.5k of Spotify streams alone before the band struck gold once more. A trio of singles in “Lifetaker“, “Fairfield” and “Empty Woods” appeared in 2023, each one hitting like a freight train before the band rolled up on Coalville Metal Invasion and Six Six Metal Fest IV. So to 2024. Metal 2 The Masses for a chance at playing the New Blood Stage at Bloodstock and Rabidfest; not bad for a band who pride themselves on unity, love and respect as much as they do their brutal breakdowns and beautiful melodies eh?

We’re proud to be a Media Partner of Rabidfest again this year alongside Red Death Media, Moomin Merchandise, Metalplanetmusic, Moshville Times, GraphicsFix, TwoFace Promotions, Blackstar Amplification, DC Sound Attack and main stage sponsor.
