Throwback: “About That Life” from Attila!

It seems that major festivals have the power of persuasion and cash to get bands back together for reunion shows as well as ask them to do full album sets these days so they have something exclusive to sell to the ticket hungry public. In the case of Party Deathcore mutants from Atlanta Georgia Atilla, last week saw them announced as performing their fifth studio album “About That Life” in its entirety at the 2023 incarnation of Blue Ridge Rock Festival. At that event, Flyleaf will return reunited with original vocalist Lacey Sturm, Cold will perform “Year Of The Spider” in full celebrating its 20th Anniversary and both Woe, Is Me and Taproot will play reunion sets, the former with the original line up of the band.

But that’s not all as Attila vocalist Chris Fronzak is part of a Deathcore supergroup dubbed The Big Six alongside Will Ramos of Lorna Shore, Fit For An Autopsy mouthpiece Joe Badolato, Taylor Barber from Left To Suffer, Dickie Allen of Infant Annihilator fame and the almighty Tyler Shelton of Traitors who have recorded an EP at Sweetwater Studios in Fort Wayne, Indiana which is expected out in 2023…
