Throwback: “Fatal Intervention” by Havok!

They say that Easter is not about the Bunny but about the Lamb Of God and we say amen to that. However there is another celebration on the cards as two decades of Denver Colorado Thrash masterminded by David Sanchez has been chalked up by Havok and combined with the 13th anniversary of “Time Is Up” it’s one hell of a reason to party. Classics like “Fatal Intervention” and “Scumbag in Disguise” have been mainstays of the bands live set for more than a decade, highlights from James Murphy (Obituary, Death, Testament) produced record that helped put through band on the map. They even tipped their collective hats to their peers with a cover of “Postmortem/Raining Blood” by Slayer appearing as a bonus track on certain editions. Rumour has it that with bassist Nick Schendzielos back in the fold, 2024 will see a new record, their first in four years, appear via Century Media…
