11th March 1997 saw the arrival of “Violent Demise: The Last Days“, the third studio album from Body Count, a controversial Rap Metal outfit fronted Ice-T. Produced by Howard Benson (Motorhead, Sepultura, In Flames), it found the band changing their guitar sound and embracing something more in keeping with the likes of Deftones, while continuing to pull no punches lyrically.
