When it comes to Cambridge twin headed Technical Metalcore six piece Eschalon, statistics don’t lie. Surpassing 400k of streams across all platforms in their first year for an unholy trinity of singles in “Helios“, “Shallow” and “Shroud” recorded in sessions with Meyrick De La Fuente (Vexed, Exist Immortal, Arcaeon) it’s safe to say they are a band at the top of their game. That hasn’t come without sacrifice as guitarist Simon Garrod put Tech-Fest on indefinite hiatus to pursue the project that he built from the ground up alongside Miles Taylor. Having worked tirelessly in the background to get a line up together capable of matching their vision, the band have since become known for their live performances, creating an immersive audio visual experience both dynamic and diverse. Intensity is the key to their approach, the breadth and depth of their influences distilled down to their very essences in creating a sound that they call their own. That was enough to persuade Neema Askari (Form Subtract, ex-Fellsilent, ex-Monuments) and Haydn Connolly (ex-In Fear) to join the band in making guest vocal appearances, so the question is who will reprise those roles on the Devolution Magazine sponsored stage?

We’re proud to be a Media Partner of Rabidfest again this year alongside Red Death Media, Moomin Merchandise, Metalplanetmusic, Moshville Times, GraphicsFix, TwoFace Promotions, Blackstar Amplification, DC Sound Attack and main stage sponsor. Devolution Magazine. The Festival is all for charity and this year the profits will be going to the The Sophie Lancaster Foundation!
