Rabidfest returns to The Bullingdon in the heart of Oxford on 2nd and 3rd November! 20 bands from all across the country will be reducing the venue to a shadow of its former self over 2 days of Metal madness! Do Sunday headliners Viscera really need an introduction at this point in time? The Unique Leader Records signed Technical Deathcore outfit announced themselves on an unsuspecting World in 2018 with an all star cast of seasoned veterans making their presence felt as first single “Lamb to the Slaughter” hit like a sledge hammer. Since then a pair of heavy hitting albums in 2020’s “Obsidian” and 2023’s “Carcinogenesis” have smashed down the walls and while line up changes have happened guitarist Adam Bell (A Night in the Abyss) and vocalist Jamie Graham (ex-Sylosis, ex-Heart of a Coward) remain ever present. Joining them on the Devolution Magazine sponsored main stage will be guitarist Charlie Michael (Apparition, ex-Woe Betide, VoidWeaver) and drummer Danny Yates (Enslavement, Osiah, Tribe of Ghosts) as they seek every last ounce of your energy in the mosh pit to bring the bloodstained curtain down on an event that will surely live long in the memory. Sex, lies and bloody statistics will confirm the setlist but with more than 4 million Spotify streams alone for the title track of their debut album and 1.7 million for their debut single are bound it be included but we all want to hear “Rats With Wings“… and if they’re game an impromptu rendition of “Dead Weight” from Graham’s past in Heart of a Coward.
