Rabidfest 2025: Breaking Down The Bands #19: Red Method!

There are just a handful of days left before the biggest Metal Weekender Oxford has to offer takes place at The Bullingdon so if you haven’t already do your eardrums a favor and get yourself a ticket to Rabidfest! That way you can witness twenty bands over two days of neck snapping, beer swilling, mosh pit madness with more than one musician leaping over the barrier in front of the Devolution Magazine sponsored main stage to get involved with the audience! 1st and 2nd November will see money being raised for the Sophie Lancaster Foundation too so you can even tell your Mum you can’t come to dinner on Sunday because you’re doing something for charity! What more could you possibly want?!

The Method was painted with his own blood !!! The Method is Red !!! A world painted in Red !!

Download. Bloodstock. Tech-Fest. Rabidfest. Incineration Festival. Red Method have conquered them all and left a few to live to tell the tale. They rose like a phoenix from from the ashes of Meta-Stasis, Ted Maul and The Defiled back in 2018, releasing their well received debut album “For The Sick” two years later. Produced by Scott Atkins (Cradle Of Filth, Amon Amarth, Sylosis) of Grindstone Studios, that has served them well as a collection of songs with big grooves and even bigger hooks that form the push that makes you want to move. In 2021 they released “ReWorks” a re-imagining of the album with the colossal “Slaves To The New World Disorder” as a new track and warning shot about the shape of punk to come. Having endured line up changes, they finally brought to an end the wait for new material in 2024 with “All For One, None For All” a cut that features a guest appearance from Jayant Bhadula of Bloodywood. As we impatiently wait a new album the outfit will return to The Bullingdon in another attempt to reduce the stage to sawdust as the Sunday night headliner and final band to grace this years event. The question is, will they have a virgin sacrifice to offer us this Halloween or instead simply treat us to the classics?

We’re proud to be a Media Partner of Rabidfest again this year alongside Red Death Media, Moomin Merchandise, Moshville Times, Moshville Radio, Metalplanetmusic, GraphicsFix, TwoFace Promotions, Blackstar Amplification and main stage sponsor Devolution Magazine. The Festival is all for charity and this year the profits will be going to the The Sophie Lancaster Foundation!
