Throwback: “Bear The Scars” from Stampin’ Ground!

There are an awful lot of bands who could be considered underrated but from 1995 to 2006 and then for a further year of live shows in 2014, Cheltenham’s Groove Death Metal outfit Stampin’ Ground were definitely one. When they dropped album “Carved from Empty Words” in 2000 and had a monster tune with “Officer Down” (later covered by Welsh Death Metal outfit Venom Prison) they toured with Chimaira and Soulfly to name but a few. Sadly 2004 was their final hour in the studio with “A New Darkness Upon Us” so 20 years on its time to raise a poison chalice for “Bear The Scars“.
