NEWS: American Head Charge bassist Chad Hanks passes away

In heart breaking news, American Head Charge bassist Chad Hanks has sadly passed away after a battle with cancer. He was just 46. There are some touching photos in tribute over on theprp.com of his last moments. There are also details of a memorial fund to help pay for the funeral costs and final medical bills. For me, I will always remember him breaking a string during the opening song “Violent Reaction” and drinking a bottle of Southern Comfort straight during the set. That was in 2006 at Portsmouth Wedgewood Rooms as the band played on their UK tour in support of second album “The Feeding”. Rest in peace brother.
