The Black Map #5: Carcer City from Liverpool!
Continuing our journey across The Black Map of the UK Underground Metal scene, we arrive from Birmingham to Liverpool and Metalcore tinged Tech-Metallers Carcer City. Current release “Infinite//Unknown” is out now via Attila’s Stay Sick Recordings and the bands third album following 2009’s debut “The Life We Have Chosen” and 2012’s “The Road Journals”. We had the pleasure of seeing the band 4 times in 2017, as they crushed The Word Alive at Southampton Engine Rooms on Atilla’s UK tour, supported The Arusha Accord at their home town Tech-Fest warm up show, on the Tech-Fest main stage and finally in support of Metalcore heroes Still Remains. The band have a reputation for a stunning live show and we can tell you first hand that they more than live up to it! Capable of giving any band a run for for their money and pushing headliners to deliver their best work, Carcer City are a must. We’re hoping for new material at their upcoming shows this year, including Bristol’s Fat Lip Fest all dayer at The Lanes on 28th July!
