Vs. Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins? FIGHT! “Injustice System” Edition!

Continuing our tribute to Queens New York Hardcore Punk heroes Sick of it All, it’s time to pit a pair of bands head to head with their cover versions! “Injustice System!” is one of numerous anthems that appear on “Blood, Sweat and No Tears”, the 1989  debut full length from the quartet. It was released by Relativity Records and clocks in at just 28 minutes and 26 seconds despite featuring 19 tracks, while the song itself later appeared on the soundtrack to Grand Theft Auto IV.

In the Red Corner we have San Francisco Hardcore quintet First Blood, who recorded their take on “Injustice System!” for their covers album “Inspirations”. Their 3rd album “Rules”, produced by Will Putney and released by Pure Noise Records is a gem! In the Blue Corner, we have a Cleveland Ohio Hardcore band that have shared stages with Hatebreed, Ringworm, Shadows Fall, The Misfits, Suicidal Tendencies & D.R.I to name but a few, all of whom have had some influence from SOIA. We’re talking about Crossface. Who Wins? You decide!
