The Black Map #213: Glass Grave from Brighton!

After a trip to London to talk about Throne Of Icarus and then Taunton to spotlight Flayed Disciple, this week’s entry in The Black Map, our weekly look at one of the lesser lights of heaven from the United Kingdom Underground Metal scene finds us in Sunny Brighton. There we find Glass Grave, a quintet who announced themselves to an unsuspecting World in January and have since shared stages with everyone from Black Coast to Tyrants. Being fresher than baked bread straight from the oven they made us wait for their debut single “Alive” until last month in all fairness quality over quantity is what we demand. They didn’t cheat us either and chose to work with a master in Myroslav Borys at Jigsaw Audio (Last Hounds, Confessions Of A Traitor) for it and then launched it like a ship on its maiden voyage by getting it added to Calamity Culture Records “New Blood” compilation alongside 14 others including our friends in Beyond Extinction. Up next is “Worldwide Disarray” on 15th June followed by an all dayer in their home town, a who’s who of the Underground Scene including Glower and Virgin Witch. Rest assured they have our attention.
