Formed in 2017, Oxford natives Damaged Reich took the bull by the horns and dived into the Metal 2 The Masses competition for a chance to play the New Blood stage at Bloodstock Open Air Festival. You might think a fresh band might not have the live experience under their belts to be able to earn the right to play such an occasion but the four piece Thrash crew had ideas above their station. Full of vim and vigor they swept the opposition aside and in 2018 made their dream come true. Judas Priest, Devildriver and Wednesday 13 played that year, making it a special one and that gave the band the momentum they needed to hammer out debut album “Death Becomes Us All” a year later.

The great plague years took their toll but the tail end of 2022 saw the band shared photos of song structures stating that seven cuts has been written for album number two. Breaking out from the studio and rehearsal space the band returned to the stage for Buried In Smoke Festival alongside Inhuman Nature, Discharge and Conan before shows with American’s Witching and Death Thrash overlords Bloodshot have made 2024 a year to remember. Who’s ready for some blood, sweat and beers?

We’re proud to be a Media Partner of Rabidfest again this year alongside Red Death Media, Moomin Merchandise, Metalplanetmusic, Moshville Times, GraphicsFix, TwoFace Promotions, Blackstar Amplification, DC Sound Attack and main stage sponsor Devolution Magazine. The Festival is all for charity and this year the profits will be going to the The Sophie Lancaster Foundation!
