Vs. Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins? FIGHT! Thriller!

In the lead up to Halloween or as some like to call it Devils Night, it’s only right that we should go all out with some themed pieces. After all it’s all good clean cheesy horror fun until someone loses their head, right?! There’s no doubt that the 80s was the era for the horror film genre to be given wings with the likes of Wes Craven and John Carpenter letting their offerings (sacrafices?) loose like Blood Hounds amongst the chickens. It was from a surprising place however that horror touched mainstream with Michael Jackson bringing “Thriller” to the party alongside it’s own epic mini movie.

In the blood red corner we have Connecticut’s finest Theatricore Gentleman Ice Nine Kills who shared their inspiration for death in the form of “The Silver Scream”. The deluxe version of that is out now. Upon that album is their take on the Michael Jackson. In the blue corner we have Kissing Candice who shared their version of the iconic track this time last year in Industrial Metal follow up to their EP “Safe Word”. Who Wins? You decide!
