Vs. Tuesday: Two Bands! One Song! Who Wins? FIGHT! Spiritbox #2

The love for Vancouver Canada’s Spiritbox continues to flow like a river to the sea and they grow not only their fanbase among Joe Public but also among their peers in the music industry. After all, who would have picked out Courtney La Plante to appear on a The Acacia Strain track before she actually did and who would have put Crystal Lake frontman on a rework of “Holy Roller“? The fact that the band are open to these things and are thinking outside of the box at all times is as refreshing at their music…

…and so to our head to head. The very weekend that single “Constance” dropped, a pair of covers surfaced within hours, backing our earlier point. In the Red corner the first comes from Carcosa pairing Andrew Baena and Johnny Ciardullo who were lucky enough to have an inside job on the track with Spiritbox’s Mike Stringer getting Andrew Baena to tab out the song and so giving them an advance. In the Blue corner we have Eissa from Copenhagen Demark Progressive Metallers Morphide, who like a number of vocalists including Monuments Andy Cizek and The Agonist‘s Vicky Psarakis have been doing a multitude of vocal cover performances during the year of the Great Plague. Who wins? You decide!
